Our final microwave was a cheapo 1 that lasted about 1 year. We did without a single for a although, but I started finding fed up of my cups of tea going cold and that's the key cause for us having the microwave oven! We also use it a lot for reheating food that has been made in bulk, and we use the steamer provided to steam veg. Broccoli is even rather tasty working with the steam function even though do not anticipate young children to eat it!
I appreciate the look of the oven. My opinion is if we're having something on display on the worktops it should really be attractive. The curved back and compact size makes it fit readily into a corner and the colour is just yummy.
There is a kid-proof function whereby the start button will not perform unless the door has been opened to begin with to put food in - incredibly handy.
I get it rather simple to figure out. You can just plonk your food inside, shut the door, and press the jetstart button to set it off on full energy. Keep pressing the jetstart button to raise the time intervals gradually, beginning with 30 seconds. TWO YEARS ON...
Update: nevertheless going robust, almost two years on. The labels above each button are slowly disappearing but there are no difficulties at all otherwise. I advocate it to everybody.
When the microwave stops cooking and beeps it continues spinning as though it really is nonetheless cooking. This worried my mum when she put to use it but it really is supposed to occur.

Pretty pleased I chose this. Looks even superior than in the images. Fits beautifully into the corner so makes use of ordinarily unused space and doesn't take over the work area. Straightforward to use. Not cheap but well worth the income.
Updated 19th Jan 2009. Microwave has now stopped working at less than a month old. Not positive if just unlucky or whether I was a bit hasty with my praise. Amazon cannot replace at present as not readily available.
