WE have had two Sharp microwaves and they have only lasted 3/4 years hence the alter to Whirlpool.
The directions are extremely poor and the DVD does not even show this model, but once you have worked out every little thing it is a particularly fantastic machine and the steam cooking is a wizz, hard vegatables eg Potatoess and Carrots cook in 4 mins, soft veg cook in 2-3 mins, fish is even more quickly and the taste is excellent.
Th drop down door took a bit of acquiring put to use to but it is handy to pull food forward onto to check it and then push it back in, the crisper dish gives outstanding outcomes with pizzas and chips
It does eveything that we would ever want a microwave to do and extra, don't be put off by the poor directions and use some commonsense when setting the programmes, I am positive you will be pleased with the product.
We have not had the unit really long, but so far it appears very good. It is nicely built and quite uncomplicated to clean as there are no exposed heating components.
The steaming function is wonderful, but requirements some experimenting with to get utilised to the timings vital for numerous vegetables and so on.
The oven pre heat is beneficial and it cooks jacket potatoes well, but does take longer than our old Sanyo,
as it makes use of a lower microwave wattage, (max 350) in mixture mode.
The kitchen timer is really helpful, and the unit continues to remind you with an occasional beep if you have left a thing in it.
There are a quantity of completely different functions which will take a bit of acquiring employed to, but this is true of any new appliance.
Drawbacks? It is pretty sizeable and heavy. The fan oven is rather noisy, a thing we may get looked at if it gets any louder.
A cooling fan continues to run soon after use, not actually a predicament as it stops when the door is opened or you press quit.
Of note, Whirlpool advised us it comes with a two year producers warranty.
Not tried the crisp function but, but the grill appears productive.
defrosting appears Ok, we have not observed to a lot in the way of hot spots, but it does appear to want longer than the weight/plan function says.
You get a steamer, oven tray , wire rack, crisping tray and food cover with it.
The reviewer who commented on the oven tray scratching the inside of the oven is appropriate, hence the 4 stars, (this and noise from oven)
Great service from Amazon, all in all pleased. Note. Getting had the unit just more than a year, some hairline crazing is appearing on the plastic of the door deal with and the
plastic just above the manage panel.
